There seems to be a lot of speculation on Abigail's parents. Most sources I see state that her father was a Zephaniah Woolsey. My theory is that she is the daughter of Zephaniah Woolsey (1801-1847) who was the son of Nehemiah Woolsey (1774-1834). I have no proof, just a theory. - Will
