Adalbert de Lorraine, Count of Metz, Count of Chatenois, Duke of Upper Lorraine, was born circa 1000 to Gerard III de Lorraine (c970-c1045) and Gisela de Bar (?-?) and died 11 November 1048 at the Battle of Thuin of unspecified causes.
