The 1910 census lists Alexander Faller as living in the Bronx with his wife Bertha and her two brothers, William and Frank Schnoper. He was then a merchant seaman. In the 1920 census, he and his wife and their four children are living in Huntington, Suffolk County, New York, and his occupation is listed as “machinist.” Victor also appears in that census as living in Huntington, with his mother, Bertha Langerman and sister Irene.
