Willem Alexander Karel Hendrik Frederik van Oranje-Nassau, Prince of Orange, Prince of the Netherlands, Prince of Orange-Nassau, Heir Apparent to the Throne of the Netherlands, was born 25 August 1851 in The Hague to Willem III van Oranje-Nassau (1817-1890) and Sophie von Württemberg (1818-1877) and died 21 June 1884 in The Hague of typhus.
