The Earl of Oxford and Mortimer died at his seat, Eyewood, near Kingston, Herefordshire, on the 19th instant, He was bom in 1809; succeeded his father, as sixth earl, in 1848; married, in 1831, the Hon. Eliza Nugent, daughter of Lord Westmeath, by whom he leaves no issue. This ancient title therefore becomes extinct. The Hon. Jane Frances Bukersteth, only daughter of the late Lord Langdale, succeeds to the family estates in Herefordshire.
