Alfred Randolph Clarke was born 9 September 1904 in Gundagai, New South Wales, Australia to Robert John Clarke (1864-1949) and Eliza Emma Neve (1870-1942) and died 1 March 1922 in Gundagai, New South Wales, Australia of gunshot wound. Ancestors are from Australia, the United Kingdom.

A fatal shooting accident occurred at Tumblong last week, when a young man Alfred Randolph Clarke (17) was out fox-shooting. It is surmised that a pea-rifle he was carrying caught in a wire fence and exploded. The bullet entered Clarke's head, and he died half an hour after admission to the hospital.
