CASINO, Monday.

The death occurred, here to-day of Mrs. Alice Adelaide Brown, widow of the late Mr. A. D. Brown. Mrs. Brown, who had been seriously ill for several weeks, was born at Wollombi 67 years ago. She resided on the Clarence for a time before coming to Casino about half a century ago. The daughters of the deceased are Mrs. Chas. Anderson (Casino), Mrs. Ivy Dorrington (Casino) and Mrs. G. Tillett (Bangalow), while Mr. James Brown, of Dunoon, is a son. Brothers of the deceased are Messrs. A. C. and Thomas Ellem of Casino, Walter and William Ellem, of Grafton. Mrs. H. S. Bailey, of Murwillumbah, and Mrs. Sneezby, of Sydney, are sisters. The funeral will take place at Casino Church of England cemetery to-morrow afternoon.
