Alice was a nurse, a graduate of Lincoln General Hospital School ofNursing in 1934. Worked ho wever in personnel office with Golds and laterbecame store nurse. Graduate of Beaver Crossin g High School. Alsorelated through Ron's side of family. Funeral at St. Mary's Cathedral inL incoln and burial at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.
OBITUARY:
Mrs. Alice Edna Barnes was born at Beaver Crossing, March 5, 1911 anddied in Lincoln August 1 3, 1947. She was graduated from Lincoln GeneralHospital Nursing School in 1934. Employed by G old & Co., she served inthe personnel office for a time and later became the store nurse.
After attending Beaver Crossing High School, she was employed for a timein the offices of Dr . Belden and Dr. Curley at Seward.
She was married to Joseph E. Miller November 25, 1935.
Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Cathedral August 16 with Rev.Lawrence F. Obrist offi ciating. Burial was in Lincoln Memorial Park.Pallbearers were Robert W. Smith, Ralph Edwards , Reg V. Seeley, DonWoolery, Victor Johnson and Herald Geis.[Eicher.FBK]
