Amelia born in 1876 in Pucklechurch, England was the first child of Gabriel and Elizabeth Stickler. She grew up in Wick & Abson, Gloucestershire. In 1904 she immigrated to Canada accompanied by Alice Ann Stockden (1883-1970) and Frank Charles Stockdon (1882-1961) and their mother, Ellen Jane (Amelia's Aunt, the sister to Amelia's mother). They made the journey aboard the ship Lake Erie, sailing from Liverpool on 12 July 1904 and arriving in Quebec, Canada, on 22 July 1904. From there she went to Melita, Monitoba and married Frank Berry who had previously immigrated to Canada and lived in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. They had two children, a son, Frank and daughter Elsie. After Frank died Amelia married Harry Beale and had one daughter, Marguerite who eventually moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
