Mrs. Clemson, jun.

Thb death occurred at her parents home at 3 a.m. on Sunday morning of Amy Martha Sophia Clemson, wife of Mr. Horace Edward Clemson, of Nangus, at the early age of 31 years.. Never of very robust constitution, the deceased had for some time been under medical treatment, but not until a few weeks ago did symptoms of a most serious nature develop, and on Thursday her condition became critical, and death took place as stated, the immediate cause of which was abscess on the brain. A very sad feature of the case is the fact that Mr. Clemson himself was only just recovering from a very severe attack of pneumonia, and during his illness his wife constantly visited him until at last she was compelled to take to her bed. Deceased, who was a native of Gundagai, was the eldest daughter of Mr; and Mrs. W. Trimble, of Bourke-street, and married 13 years ago, and leaves one daughter (May Pearlie), aged 11 years. Widespread sympathy is felt for the grief-stricken husband and parents, and sorrowing, who are well-known and highly respected throughout the district. The funeral, which was very largely attended, took place yesterday, the remains being interred in the Church of England portion of the South Gundagai cemetery. The service at the gravside was conducted by the Rev; H. F. Champion.
