Andrea Juanico y Balderas was born 1820 in Banate, Iloilo, Spanish East Indies to Tomas Juanico and Lucia Balderas (1818-) . She married Vicente Brillantes in Banate, Iloilo, Philippines, Spanish East Indies.

There is no extant record referring to Doña Andrea Juanico y Balderas. However, her memory is recalled by the descendants of Don Tomas Juanico, her father. In the year 2007, the first ever reunion of descendants of Don Tomas Juanico (elected Gobernadocillo of Banate in 1855)[1] was held in Banate National High School grounds. More than a thousand descendants coming from various provinces of Western Visayas attended the whole day event, the majority of whom do not know each other. Long before this gathering, his family tree was reconstructed.

Doña Andrea is the eldest daughter of Don Tomas Juanico and Doña Lucia Balderas (sister of Don Martin Balderas, who was also Gobernadorcillo of Banate). She was married to Don Vicente Brillantes y Blancaflor of Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo, to which Banate was attached after it was destroyed during incursion and pillage of the Moros from Mindanao in 1764.[2] Having been married to the eldest daughter of Banate's Gobernadorcillo during the period when social norms and traditions were strictly observed through pre-arranged marriage, it is supposed that Vicente also belonged to the Principalía of Barotac Nuevo.

The union between Doña Andrea Juanico y Balderas and Don Vicente Brillantes y Blancaflor produced the following offsprings:
