Andrew died on 12th June 1884 in Merryganowery, and he was 58. He died of bronchitis which he had for 12 months. His medical attendant was Dr Felix Paul Bartlett and he last saw Andrew on the day he died. Andrews father was John Hennessy, farmer and his mother was Honora Quinlan. The informant was Catherine Hennessy (his wife) and her mark was witnessed by Denis McCa...... Catherine lived at Merryganowery. Andrews death was registered at Cowra on 24th July 1884. Andrew was buried on 15th June 1884 at Cowra Cemetery and the undertaker was Hugh McLeod. The minister was Rev. O'Kennedy and witnesses were Michael Breen and John Breen. Andrew was born in County Tipperary, Ireland and had been in the colony for 33 years. He had married Catherine Ryan in Ireland when he was 26. His children were Margaret 28 years, John 26, James 24, Kate 22, Mary Ann 20, David 18, Johanna 16, Bridget 14, Austasin 12, Sarah 10, one maleand two females deceased.
