BiographyEdit

(Research):Andrew lived at "Tondeburine" in his youth. For some time in the 1920's Andrew spent time in Qld sapphire mining with his grandfather. He also prepared horses for the Indian Market while in Qld. After marrying, Andrew and Gwen operated a General Store and Carrying Business in Tooraweenah. About 1941 he returned to Gulargambone and continued the Carrying Business. In 1950 he purchased "Mayfield" of 300acres and continued both operations until age forced his retirement from carrying. "Mayfield" and other small holdings were sold shortly prior to his death in 1975.
