Ann Baglin, born about 1775 had an illegitimate son (base child) when she was only 17. Her son, Thomas Baglin, born about 1792 married Mary Neale in 1817 and they had eight children; thus carrying on the Baglin family name. Ann’s mother, Rebeka Baglin (c1748-1806) had illegitimate children also, two girls and two boys when she was aged between about 25 and 31.
And thus, through Rebeka Baglin and her daughter, Ann Baglin, the Baglin family line is continued.
