Biography

Anna Katharina von Brandenburg was born 26 June 1575 in Halle, Germany to Joachim III. Frederick von Brandenburg (1546-1608) and Katharina von Brandenburg-Küstrin (1549-1602) and died 8 April 1612 in Copenhagen, Denmark of unspecified causes. She married Christian IV of Denmark (1577-1648) 7 December 1597 in Haderslev.
