Notes on Anna's parentsEdit
The will of Samuel Totten lists a daughter Hannah, which is suspected to be the same person as Anna, the subject of this article. Samuel lists his wife as Sarah. However, there is a good possibility that Sarah was Samuel's second wife, and that this Samuel may also have been the Samuel Totten who married Hannah Seaman in the early 1730s. One genealogy states that Hannah Seaman remarried around the year 1740, while her husband Samuel Totten was still living. Further research is required to determine Anna Totten's parents with certainty.
