BRISBANE, Nov. 2.—Mrs. Annie Violet Rudder, who died in Brisbane to-day, was one of Stanthorpe's best known residents.
She was the widow of Mr. William Layton Rudder, who after managing the Royal Bank there, became a stock and station agent. She is survived by one daughter and six sons.
The youngest son is Captain W. L. Rudder, Secretary of the New Settler's League and formerly private secretary to the Governor (Sir John Lavarack).
Her funeral will leave at 9.30 a.m. to-morrow for the Crematorium.
