Anne of Denmark was born 14 October 1574 in Skanderborg, Denmark to Frederik II of Denmark (1534-1588) and Sophie von Mecklenburg-Schwerin (1557-1631) and died 2 March 1618 in Hampton Court Palace, England, United Kingdom of unspecified causes. She married James I of England (1566-1625) 23 November 1589 in Oslo, Norway.
