Arthur Charles Clarence Leer was born 1880 in Maclean, New South Wales, Australia to Arthur George Leer (c1848-1919) and Catherine Messingham (1851-1939) and died 23 January 1944 at St George District Hospital in Kogarah, New South Wales, Australia of unspecified causes. He married Mary Ann Chegwidden (1876-1944) 24 March 1915 in Waterloo, New South Wales, Australia.
