Paul Friedrich August I. von Oldenburg, Grand Duke of Oldenburg, was born 13 July 1783 in Rastede to Peter I. von Oldenburg (1755-1829) and Friederike E.A.A. von Württemberg (1765-1785) and died 27 February 1853 in Oldenburg of unspecified causes. He married Adelheid von Anhalt-Bernburg-Schaumburg-Hoym (1800-1820) 24 July 1817 in Schaumburg Castle. He married Ida von Anhalt-Bernburg-Schaumburg-Hoym (1804-1828) 24 June 1825 in Schaumburg Castle. He married Cecilia of Sweden (1807-1844) 5 May 1831 in Vienna.
