Prinzessin Auguste Wilhelmine Louise von Hessen-Kassel was born 25 July 1797 to Friedrich III. von Hessen-Kassel und Rumpenheim (1747-1837) and Caroline Polyxene von Nassau-Usingen (1762-1823) and died 6 April 1889 of unspecified causes. She married Adolphus, Duke of Cambridge (1774-1850) 7 May 1818 .
