| Father: | Benjamin Van Vechten (1686-1747) | This needs to be validated. If correct Benjamin (1735-1795 would have been born when his father was 61. Possible, but not particularly plausible. |
| Mother: | Sarah Runyon (1686-?) | This connection is questionable. The Sarah Runyon born 1686 is shown by many as having married a "Sutton". Also, she would have been 49 at the birth of Benjamin (1735-1795). It seems likely that a generaton has been skipped, and perhaps Benjamin b. 1686 and Sarah b. 1686 are the grandparents of Benjamin b. 1735. |
