Rev. Dr. Brantly Mercer Callaway, D.D. (November 24, 1838 - September 22, 1902) was the son of Rev. Enoch Callaway (1792-1859) and Martha Reeves (1796-1879). He married near Greenville, Meriwether County, Georgia on January 11, 1859 Lucy Brooks Howard (1837-1915), daughter of Robert Groves Howard (1798-1855) and his second wife Mary Brooks Glenn (1810-1840). He is buried in Callaway Family Cemetery, Wilkes County, Georgia.
