Obituary

Mr. Cecil Paterson

Mr. Cecil Paterson died suddenly at St. Helen's Hospital, Orange, on Thursday. He was 64 years of age.

Deceased was well known in the Binalong district some years ago, where he conducted the hotel. He was also a resident of Cootamundra.

One daughter, Sr. M. Alocoque, of Mt. Carmel, Yass, and a son, Norman, of Cootamundra; survive. His wife, who was Miss Birdie Loomes, of Bookham, predeceased him some nine years ago.

The funeral was conducted by Mr. B. J. Delaney from St Augustine's Church on Saturday morning.

Fr. C. T. Paterson officiated at the church, and also, at the graveside in the R.C. portion of Yass cemetery.

Floral tributes were sent by:— Norman, Alan and Tot; Mrs. Smith, Hilda and Barry; Dorric and Pop; Mrs. Cbpp, Betty and Greg; Bill and Thelma Lawson; Mr. and Mrs. L. Ticehurst and family; Rex, Rita and Annette Pitman.
