Cecilie von Mecklenburg-Schwerin was born 20 September 1886 in Schwerin, Germany to Friedrich Franz III. von Mecklenburg-Schwerin (1851-1897) and Anastasia of Russia (1860-1922) and died 6 May 1954 in Bad Kissingen, Germany of stroke. She married Wilhelm von Preußen (1882-1951) 6 June 1905 in Berlin, Germany.
