In early 2007 a new enthusiastic member (apparently resident in or near Kalamazoo County, Michigan), started including material from cemetery transcriptions. It promises to be a whole new big facet of this site, far surpassing the corresponding material on Wikipedia (unsurprisingly, because most cemeteries are unencyclopaedic).
It has led to a revival of the work of creating pages and categories for places such as counties, starting with USA but moving to the rest of the world.
Where practicable, lists of transcriptions can be on the cemetery page itself after general details such as cemetery location and ownership (rather than being on separate "burial" pages as in Wikipedia). If the cemetery is not small, ease of handling will eventually require the creation of linked subpages. Not a problem.
