Central West, New South Wales, is one of a dozen regions into which people commonly divide New South Wales, a former British colony that is now the most populous state of Australia.

Location and geographyEdit

It is a medium-sized region extending from Oberon and Lithgow in the Blue Mountains area of the Great Dividing Range west of Greater Sydney to a point about half-way across the state, including Bathurst and Orange.
