Charles Darwin was born 12 February 1809 in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England to Robert Waring Darwin (1766-1848) and Susannah Wedgwood (1765-1817) and died 19 April 1882 at the age of 73 years of unspecified causes. Charles married Emma Wedgewood 29 January 1839 .
