He arrived in Sydney on 28 July 1854 on the Plantagent with his wife and children as an assisted immigrant.

  • Mr. Charles Hone, aged 85 years, a very old and respected resident of Binda, died at Kenmore Hospital on Sunday last, where he had been an inmate for some weeks past. The remains were brought to Crookwell by train on Monday morning, and were interred in the Binda cemetery in the afternoon.
