Charles Radclyffe, 5th Earl of Derwentwater was born 3 September 1693 to Edward Radclyffe, 2nd Earl of Derwentwater (1655-1705) and Mary Tudor (1673-1726) and died 8 December 1746 of execution by decapitation. He married Charlotte Maria Levingston, Countess of Newburgh (c1694-1755) 24 June 1724 .
