Daniel Doty moved to Derry Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania before 1790 and remained there through 1810. By 1814 he was living in Warren County, Ohio, and by 1820 he had moved to the farm he purchased with his brother Samuel in Liberty Township, Butler County, Ohio.
