1810 censusEdit

Daniel is listed as a head of household in the 1810 census of Salem Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.

The following information was obtained from Daniel's will of 1830.

  • Daniel Morrison (born in colonial times, died 1830)
  • Married 1st: unknown first wife and had children: Sarah Ann, Margaret, Martha, Samuel, John, James, Alexander & Henry.
  • Married 2nd: Martha ? and had children: Isabella, Archibald, Allen Murry & Nancy Jane.

Notes on childrenEdit

There is an LDS submission that says that Allen Murry Morrison and Nancy Jane Morrison were both baptized in Congruity 9/13/1828. There is no definitive proof as of yet that Daniel's son Alexander was indeed Alexander Morrison (1808-1853) of New Hagerstown, Ohio.

Possible close relativesEdit

Samuel & Agness Morrison (same generation as Daniel & Martha) lived in the same vicinity as Daniel in Westmoreland County. Samuel may have been a brother.
