WERRIS CREEK, Wednesday.
Mr. Donald Gillies, 50, who had been foreman on Clift Bros.' properties, Werris Creek
for the past 25 years, died in Quirindi Hospital on Tuesday morning. He was an expert in station and farming machinery, and was a well-known identity in the north. For a number of years he was president of the Werris Creek Amateur Race Club, besides being an active member of other local bodies.
