Last Rites for Dora Buckingham
Dora E. Buckingham, 78, of Omaha, formerly of Friend, died Thursday,
February 1, 1996. She was born in Friend and was a former teacher of Friend Public Schools. She was a former certified dental assistant of J.C. Pollard Dentist Office, Friend. She was a member of the United Church of Christ Women's Fellowship, Friend Rebekah Lodge 58, and Friend American Legion Auxiliary 183. She was a lifetime member of National and Nebraska Dental Assistants Association and a Sunday school teacher.
Her survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law: Patricia and Leslie McCrea, Charleston S.C., ad Sandra and Frank McCullough, Lincoln, son and daughter in-law, Robert and Sandra Buckingham, Rosemount, Minnesota; 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and fiancee, David Collins, Omaha.
Services were held Saturday at the Friend United Church of Christ with the Rev. Robert Brauninger and ____ Sacvo officiating. Interment was in Andrew Cemetery.
