Doris Norwood Click, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Tuesday, February 16, 2010, in the Blue Ridge Hospice Residential Center.

Mrs. Click was born in Newport News, Virginia, the daughter of the late Robert S. and Lucille O. Norwood. She was a homemaker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She previously worked with several law enforcement protection organizations.

Her husband, Percy Click, preceded her in death in January of 2002.

Surviving are three daughters, Linda Neal of Stephens City, Virginia, Janie Wetzel of St. Augustine, Florida, Sherry Giordano of Front Royal, Virginia; four grandchildren, Stacey Locke, Christina Burns, Bobby Neal, Darin Neal, five great grandchildren and her sister, Jackie Bailey of Mechanicsville, Virginia.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 20, 2010, at Hudson’s Crossroads Cemetery at Hudson’s Crossroads near Woodstock, Virginia.

Honorary Pallbearers will be, Bobby Neal, Darin Neal, Frankie Locke, Orris Edward Burns IV (1969-), Beau Shelton and Donald Shelton.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening, February 19, 2010, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 West Cork Street, Suite 405, Winchester, Virginia 22601 or Esther Boyd Animal Shelter, 161 Ft. Collier Road, Winchester, Virginia 22603.
