Near Dubrajpur is the Mama Bhagne pahar. A large number of large sized rocks are found in the area. Two remarkable of these rocks are known as Mama and Bhagne (maternal uncle and nephew). Now, the entire area is known as Mama Bhagney.
As of 2001 India census, Dubrajpur had a population of 32,752. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%.
