Eleanor of Aquitaine was born 1122 to William X, Duke of Aquitaine (1099-1137) and Aénor de Châtellerault (1103-aft1130) and died 1 April 1204 at the age of 81 years of unspecified causes. Eleanor married Louis Capet 22 July 1137 in Bordeaux.


Eleanor married Henry II Plantagenet on 18 May 1152 .


Eleanor of Poitou and Aquitaine Eleanor succeeded as Duchess of Aquitaine upon the death of her father in 1137 and ruled it (along with her husbands and sons) until her death.
