|i. James B. Stuart (c1762-?) was born between 1761 and 1763. Merchant in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Married Ann Tabb|
|ii. Mary Stuart (c1764-?) was born between 1763 and 1766 in Walker's Creek, Augusta Co., VA. She married her cousin William Walker, son of John Walker and Mary Coulton, in 1783. Walkers, Rowans, Brown, Stricklers and others descend from their five children.|
|iii. John Stuart (c1768-?) was born circa 1768. Married Virginia Wardlow ,daughter of William Wardlow, and moved to Missouri.|
|iv. Walker Stuart (c1770-?) was born circa 1770. Married Mary McClure, stepdaughter of Alexander Crawford. They had five children.|
|v. Robert Stuart (1772-1856) was born on August 4, 1772. Reverand Stuart(Walnut Hill Church) was a pioneer in Kentucky Presbyterianism. He married Hannah Todd daughter of General Levi Todd. They had seven children. He died(1856) in Nicholasville, Kentucky at the home of his daughter Mary Jane Stuart Price.|
|vi. Joseph Stuart (c1775-1825) was born circa 1775 in Walker's Creek, Augusta Co., VA. He died in 1825 in Charleston, SC, of Yellow Fever. He was unmarried.|
|vii. Hugh Stuart (c1776-?) was born circa 1776. Married his cousin Elizabeth Walker, daughter of John Walker.Their daughter Margaret Walker married Andrew Patterson.|
|viii. Alexander Stuart ((c1778-1837) was born circa 1778 in Walker's Creek, Augusta Co., VA.2 He married Mary "Polly" Walker, daughter of John Walker and Margaret Hutson, on December 14, 1809.2 He died on August 13, 1837. No issue.|
