Middletown Daily Times-Press on Saturday, June 18, 1910:

Ellen E., wife of James E. Ashworth died Friday at 7:10 p.m. of bronchial pneumonia, aged 66 years, 10 months and 18 days. She was born in England and was the daughter of Joshua and Jane Ramsbottom and came to this country sixty-one years ago. Besides her husband she is survived by three sons: Charles, of Shushan; Albert and Daniel, of Westbrookville; one stepson, John of Shushan, and one daughter, Mrs. L. B. King of Valley Falls; one brother, Robert Ramsdell [sic], of Epping, N. H., and two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Nicholson, of Cambridge and Mrs. Alice Trickie, of Nottingham, N. H., also survive. The funeral services will be held in the M. E. Church Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
