Filippa Egmont van Gelre was born 9 November 1465 in Grave, North Brabant, Netherlands to Adolf van Egmont (1438-1477) and Catherine de Bourbon (1440-1469) and died 28 February 1547 in Pont-à-Mousson, Meurthe-et-Moselle, France of unspecified causes. She married René II de Lorraine (1451-1508) 1 September 1485 JL in Orléans, Loiret, France.
