Friederike Luise von Hessen-Darmstadt was born 16 October 1751 in Prenzlau to Ludwig IX. von Hessen-Darmstadt (1719-1790) and Henriette Karoline von Pfalz-Zweibrücken (1721-1774) and died 25 February 1805 in Berlin, at the age of 53 years of unspecified causes. Friederike married Friedrich Wilhelm von Preußen 14 July 1769 in Charlottenburg.
