Friedrich August Joseph Maria Anton Johann Nepomuk Aloys Xavier Wettin von Sachsen, King of Saxony, Elector of Saxony, Duke of Warsaw, was born 23 December 1750 in Dresden, Germany to Friedrich Christian von Sachsen (1722-1763) and Maria Antonia von Bayern (1724-1780) and died 5 May 1827 in Dresden, Germany of unspecified causes. He married Maria Amalie Auguste von Pfalz-Zweibrücken-Birkenfeld (1752-1828) 17 January 1769 in Mannheim, Germany.
