Friedrich Franz III. von Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Großherzog von Mecklenburg-Schwerin, was born 19 March 1851 in Ludwigslust, Germany to Friedrich Franz II. zu Mecklenburg-Schwerin (1823-1883) and Auguste Reuß zu Schleiz-Köstritz (1822-1862) and died 10 April 1897 in Cannes, France of unspecified causes. He married Anastasia of Russia (1860-1922) 24 January 1879 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
