Gebhard II. von Dießen, Count of Diessen, Count of Reichenhall, was born circa 1067 to Arnold III. von Dießen (c1050-c1096) and Adelheid von Sulzbach (?-c1090) and died after 1099 of unspecified causes. He married Richardis von Spanheim (c1064-c1112) . Notable ancestors include Charlemagne (747-814). Ancestors are from France, Germany, Belgium.
It may also be that he stems from the first marriage of his father to Gisela von Schweinfurt, or from her first marriage to Heinrich von Wasserburg.
