Genealogy is the study of family histories and ancestral lines.
Many of the pages that are not specific to the subject-matter of genealogy but are to do with the administration or editing of this site - those in the "project" namespace - have pagenames starting with "Genealogy:" in accordance with the naming standard that is adopted on most Wikia sites.
