Obituary

MR. GEORGE BULLEY.

The late Mr. George Bulley, who was killed when struck by the Kempsey mail train at Ross Glen, on Monday last, was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Buliey, and was born at Hannam Vale, where he spent the greater part of his life. Subsequently he spent a short period at Heron's Creek, and about 8 years ago moved on to a property he purchased at Ross Glen. Mr. Bulley was a man who enjoyed the goodwill and respect of all sections of the community. He was very much attached to his home and family, and his death under such tragic circumstances came as a great shock to his relatives. He is survived by his wife (nee Miss Vera Ford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ford, of Moorland) and four children, viz., Ronald and Mervyn (Hannam Vale), Mrs. Norman Baker (Ross Glen) and Gladys (Sydney). One daughter, Elaine, died in childhood. The only surviving brother is Mr Roy Bulley, of Hannam Vale, and the sisters are Mesdames J. Crossingham (Stewart's River), R. V. Hopper (Taree), A. Wastle (Portland), Jack Asimus (Kingswood) and R. Crossingham (Lorne). The other brother was Mr. Eric Bulley, of Hannam Vale.
After a service at Moorland Church of England, the interment was made at Moorland cemetery.
Mr. W. T. Howard was the undertaker.
