[edit] Biography
George was christened on 15 November 1730 at Abberley.
George Harley and Elizabeth Love married on 23 April 1757 at St Nicholas Church, St Nicholas Road, Plumstead, London Se 18, Kent, England.
Address: "Hazelwood House" at Shooters Hill London England. George Harley owned a 100 room mansion Hazelwood House at Shooters Hill, London. He had inherited this property from the previous owners who had no children. We presume that this means he was a relaitive. After his death in 1814, Elizabeth was sole beneficiary of the estate, but owing to ill health, she was never able to return to England from the Colony of New South Wales to claim her inheritance, which later went to the Chancery. The house was demolished and now a Hospital stands on the site.
