Obituary
There passed away on Sunday last, at the age of 80 years, Mr. George Henry Avery, of Greenhill, near Kempsey, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Avery. Deceased was born at South Grafton, and came to the Macleay when just 21 years of age. Shortly afterwards he married his first wife, a Miss Cook, who predeceased him many years ago. Deceased was married the second time to Miss Ellen Baker, who survives him. There were ten children of the first marriage and six of the second. There are also 59 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
