Glenn Raymond Jones (1894-1953) was born October 31, 1894, Mapleton,
Woodbury County, Iowa to Isaac Newton Jones (1857-1918) and Sarah Jane Woolsey (1859-1934) and died January 9, 1953, St. Joseph,
Buchanan County, Missouri at the age of 58 years. He married Nora Zula Hartman (1900-1973).

- Heart Trouble Fatal to Glen R Jones, 58 Glen R Jones, 58 died Friday in a St. Joseph hospital where he had been a patient for a week. Mr. Jones was born Oct. 31, 1894 at Mapleton, Ia. He came to Wathena about 30 years ago and was a farmer until 1944. He was employed at the Pete Schuler body works, St. Joseph, until about two years ago when he suffered a heart attack. Since then he has been employed in Scanlan's Grocery and at other light work. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion. Surving are the wife Nora, and one daughter, Norma Jean, of the home; five sisters, Mrs. Fred Flack, Pasadena, Cal., Grace Jones, Mrs. George Case and Mrs. James Morlock, Hamburg, Ia., and Mrs. W H Frederick, Horton, and a number of nieces and nephews. Services were conducted Sunday afternoon in the Methodist church, Rev. Harold Brown officiating. Musicians were MrMrs. Burnace Axlund and Mrs. P.F. Dubach. Burial was in Bellmont with arrangements by Harman's. Pallbearers were nephews Walter Jr., Herbert, Frank, Donald and Carl Frederick and Virgil Mitchell.
