Godefroy II the Younger de Louvain, Count of Louvain, Landgrave of Brabant, Duke of Lower Lorraine, Margrave of Antwerp, was born circa 1107 to Godefroy I de Louvain (1060-1139) and Ide de Chiny (1078-c1117) and died 13 June 1142 of unspecified causes. He married Liutgard von Sulzbach (1109-1163) 1139 JL . Notable ancestors include Charlemagne (747-814), Alfred the Great (849-899), Hugh Capet (c940-996).
